Foundations

Trap an arm and the foot on the same side, bridge your hips upward, and roll your opponent over to escape the mount.

Create space with your frames, shrimp your hips away, connect your elbow and knee, and work your leg back inside to recover guard.

Protect your neck, control the choking arm, move your body toward the safe side, and work your shoulders and hips to the mat to escape back control.

Maintain strong posture inside closed guard by keeping your head up, back straight, elbows controlled, and a solid base to prevent your opponent from breaking you down.

Posture with your hands near your opponent’s armpits, stand up while maintaining good posture, then back away to force the legs open.

Control your opponent’s upper body, create an angle with your hips, place one leg across their body and the other near their knee, then use your legs and upper-body control together to sweep them to the side.

Video coming soon

Control your opponent’s posture and isolate one arm, bring your legs around their neck and arm, lock the triangle, and adjust your angle to finish.

Control your opponent from the back, slide your choking arm underneath the chin, secure the choke, and apply controlled pressure for the finish.

Control your opponent’s wrist to the mat, secure the figure-four grip, and carefully rotate their arm to finish the shoulder lock.

Control your opponent’s legs, move them to the side, and circle around their guard to establish side control.

Get onto your side, secure the underhook, come up to your elbow and then your knees, and work into the dogfight position to begin attacking from half guard.

Throw your legs and hips back while applying your weight down onto your opponent to defend against a takedown attempt.

Push the head away, dig a whizzer, get your trapped leg to the outside, and kick your leg free to recover your stance.

Description / key points coming soon
